Attendance at lectures and seminars is compulsory and always recommended. Students who have inexcusably missed 1/3 of the lessons and 20% of the total hours of each course will not be permitted to take exams. Similarly, a student who got “0” during a semester will not be allowed to take exams as well. Active class participation and successful passing of regular tests throughout the semester is encouraged.
Besides, a student should take notes of lectures and work on additional information in the library. The writing and defense of term paper is one of the forms of the students’ independent work and the means of perception of the academic materials of a course. The topics of term papers are prepared by the academic departments and are distributed to the students within the 15 first days of a semester.
