POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
The School of Political Science and International Relations is the leading
School at Western University.
The School of Political science and International Relations has been
developed into an academic unit that is at the forefront of modern
political studies and international relations.
The School search interests, grouped broadly in the fields of Politics,
International Relations, Region Studies and International Journalism.
Today, the School offers Bachelor and Master’s programs in Azerbaijani, Russian
and English languages.
It is also
developing cooperative ties with universities in the USA and Europe.
Our
undergraduate programs aim to:
1. Attract, and meet the needs of those with an intellectual interest
in Politics, International Relations, Regional Studies and International
Journalism
2.
Provide students with knowledge and
theoretical and analytical understanding of political concepts and
processes at these levels
3. Enable students to understand and use the
concepts,approaches and
methods of Politics, International Relations and International Journalism
and develop the understanding of their contested nature and the
problematic character of inquiry in the discipline
4.
Develop students' capacities to think critically about political
and international events, ideas and institutions
The
School of Political Science and International Relations offers the following concentrations at
