Michael Succow, professor of Ecology at University of Greifswald (Germany) and Alternative Nobel Prize winner, presented a lecture to the University students on the topic of “UNESCO Program on World Heritage” on 5th of October.

During his presentation, he spoke about natural and cultural heritages in Kamchatka (Russian Federation), Kazakhstan, Kirgyzstan and Azerbaijan, about the richness and beauty of Azerbaijani nature, biodiversity issues and the opportunities for arranging of national parks on the territory of Azerbaijan.

Professor Succow emphasized that Azerbaijan possesses wide perspectives for future development and prosperity.
