Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design
Program length - 4 years full-time, 5 years evening
The Interior
Design program provides a course of study that leads to the development of
a professional that will be able to enhance the function and quality of
interior spaces and create different interior image types, such as
residential, social and industrial interiors. While learning about
planning, designing and detailing interior spaces, students will be able
to display originality in the use of materials, colors and textures.
The curriculum includes such
areas of study as architecture, ergonomics, modeling, colour studies,
materials and designing of complex formal compositions.Students graduating from this
program will have an understanding that the intent of interior design is
to improve the quality of life, increase productivity and protect health,
safety and welfare of the public.
